Tuesdays, ah Tuesdays.Cool breezes, moving lace curtains ever so gently.Rumbled sheets and rhythms .Sunlight capturing crumpled rose petalsFloating from the bed to the floor.Tuesdays smell fresh like peeled oranges, juices running down the side of a mouthLong slow bites of strawberries with hints of chocolates.Tuesday s smell of Joop and Cool Water mingledSweat dripping from [...]

I’m certain that we will have other boundaries like we do with all children that we will have to address as this presidential era continues. Since we have Rahm Emanuel keeping Congress in check, consider me his blogging counterpart. I will bury you. I too, am from Illinois and we don’t play. And where he Jewish and from Chicago. I am a Muslim from East St. Louis, Illinois. We don’t play. Leave our president alone. Do not disrespect him.

White people in America today have, to my knowledge, not owned slaves. Paying slave wages doesn’t count. Most are sympathetic to the “black plight”. There are those that scream about the special treatment that we (African Americans) receive as retribution for slavery. It’s not enough. For some of us, it will never be enough. Imagine if I took a sledgehammer to your Bentley and treated it like most of you wanted to treat OJ. You’d be angry, of course. As compensation, I’d give you S 100. It’s done from my end. I damaged your car. I gave you something. It’s over. Let it go already, will you? What you don’t understand is that Affirmative Action, a few jobs where we are actually paid decent wages, stragetically placed news anchors. A couple of us were allowed to “make it” which added to the justification that the rest of us just didn’t want it enough. Hogwash.

Then there was the pro-life thing. How do you explain to an idiot that you can be pro-life and pro-choice at the same time? And that this too is a personal, moral decision that has nothing to do with me. If you are against abortion, then don’t have one. Be like the Duggars in Arkansas and have 137 babies. Or better yet, apply to be foster parents. Adopt some children.

I know this is selfish but I just want to be able to take my passport and travel and not be afraid to say that I am an American. I miss that clout, the respect. I miss being able to travel and learn, to develop culture. I would love to see our country’s respect restored on the world stage. I want the world to know that POTUS is a leader of a nation and not a bumbling idiot who can’t pronounce nuclear. I want the world to knowthat Secretary Clinton will really promote a legitimate agenda from a legimate leader. I want to see our country grow and prosper
