Cherrie Webb

If you are interested in my doing some work for you, please use the form below to contact me.  My writing skills are varied and I am available for all sorts of assignments.

My name is Cherrie Webb, though my handle for most online writing is AfriDigiDiva. I am considered a multimedia reporter and writer. I specialize in news, investigations and features, though I most enjoy op-ed pieces. (Who doesn’t love to pontificate?)

I am a syndicated blogger with Blogburst and had have had articles posted online at both Reuters and The Chicago Sun-Times.

Here are links to a couple of articles from the online edition of the Sun-Times

Oh My Dear God   East St. Louis, Il       Teens Gone Wild

Recently, I joined the African American News

I have  Associates Degree in Psychology and Social Psychology from Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City, Missouri.  I am familiar with several forms of writing styles including AP and MLA. In high school and throughout college I worked volunteered as a journalist.

I worked briefly for Sprint as a technician specialist until my writing began interfere with my employment.  I believe it is more important to be at peace and follow one’s passion than to pursue monetary wealth (though I wouldn’t turn down a good salary for doing what I love!)   For the past 4 years, I have done freelance writing, research, copy editing, typing (mostly term papers and such for college students)  as well as religious-based family and marriage counseling.
